Michael Schueller received a diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Electrical and Information Engineering from TU Graz, Austria. He specialized in high voltage engineering and worked on solid insulation systems for large rotating electrical machines and bushings before starting his PhD at the High Voltage Laboratory at ETH Zurich, Switzerland. There his research interests coved gas insulated High Voltage Systems for DC applications and charge accumulation associated with High Voltage equipment under DC stress. He finished his PhD in October 2014 and joined the Computational and Applied Electromagnetics Group of the University of Applied Sciences Rapperswil in 2015 as a senior researcher and head of the High Voltage Laboratory. His research interests are still connected to his work done before and in addition he works on fast transients and high voltage and high current testing techniques.
