We are the first University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland with a research programme specifically for wind energy -  and we are engaged in exciting and demanding topics relevant to a digital, renewable future.

New - planned project with University of St. Gallen

We are currently planning an exciting interdisciplinary project on social acceptance and wind energy noise with the University of St. Gallen.The goal of the project is to understand why expected wind farm noise is often overestimated compared to the actual noise. We will combine their social science expertise with our technical expertise and examine the discrepancies between the following four interdependent facets:
